Whitening:  

Today there exist a variety of products to lighten our natural tooth shade. We offer two choices for you to choose from.

Custom Tray Fabrication:   This process involves the creation of flexible plastic bleaching trays.   The trays are custom designed for your mouth (unlike store bought varieties).   Because the trays fit better the overall bleaching results are improved.

The length of time it takes to achieve your desired results is also reduced, since with the custom trays you can use a stronger bleaching agent than you could buy in a store.   The process usually takes anywhere from 5-10 days depending on your starting tooth shade.   Once completed your color is considered stable for 6-12 months, depending habits, such as smoking, coffee and tea drinking and red wine use, just to name a few.   Touching up your shade is an easy process, however.   Once you notice your teeth getting darker simply use a small amount of bleaching agent (You can use whatever was left over from the original bleaching or purchase touch-up tubes from the office) for 1-2 days and you should notice an instant boost.

In-Office-Bleaching :   Sometimes referred to as "laser" bleaching.   This process is designed to provide a fast and immediately noticeable effect.   The entire procedure generally takes around an hour to complete.   During the whitening an additional bright light source is used.   The light is designed to "stimulate" the bleaching agent.   This allows the teeth to whiten faster.   Our patients are also given a set of custom trays which allow further whitening and make future touch-ups easy.
