Jennifer Bobbio, DDS
We are very excited to announce that Dr. Jennifer Bobbio joined Westfields Dental on September 9, 2019 as part of our continuous effort to provide the highest level of dental care and increase your treatment and appointment options.
Dr. Bobbio is not just any doctor. She is more like family to Westfields Dental. Dr. Bobbio and Dr. Jarrell first connected years ago through their mutual love of learning and commitment to continuing education in order to be at the top of their practice. Building Dr upon a trusted professional and personal friendship over the past 5 + years, Dr. Jarrell is proud such a highly skilled clinician will be available to you, your family and friends.
Dr. Bobbio was born in Lakewood, NJ, and raised in Fairfax, VA, where she attended Fairfax High School before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a concentration in business from Virginia Tech. She graduated in 2010 from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. While at VCU, she served as Community Service Chair of her class and regularly participated in Mission of Mercy projects, providing dental care to underserved areas in Virginia.
Dr. Bobbio completed a one-year general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Baltimore, MD. During her residency, she gained advanced training in all facets of general dentistry, including the treatment of medically compromised patients and the placement and restoration of dental implants.
Dr. Bobbio is dedicated to continuing her education. She has served as a delegate, editor, continuing education chair, vice president and currently president-elect of the Virginia Academy of General Dentistry. In June of 2017, Dr. Bobbio received her Fellowship Award with the AGD by completing over five hundred hours of continuing education and passing the Fellowship exam. She is also an active member of the Spear Dental Education Study Club, which meets with other local general practitioners and specialists to advance their comprehensive treatment planning.
Dr. Bobbio has been providing comprehensive dental care in the Northern Virginia area since 2012. She adores her patients and loves connecting with them to better serve their needs.
When not in the office, you can find Dr. Bobbio spending time with her husband Ryan and chasing her five-year-old, Gabriella, three-year-old, Gavin and three-month-old, Giuliana. She also enjoys traveling, exploring Virginia wineries and taking classes at Orange Theory.
